Marvel mountains, waterfalls, fjords and mind-blowing landscapes

Only with a top view from the window!

People united by a common idea - to explore and discover hidden gems of our world and enjoy every moment of it.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the views through the window. Our cars will take you the most beautiful places.
Drifting in the swirl of the rhythmic North Atlantic Sea, the world lingers here. A place like no other on earth. An idyllic retreat, nestled peacefully among lush green valleys, mighty basalt cliffs, vast treeless moors, and waterfalls plunging straight into the ocean. An unimaginable beauty, mysteriously hidden like a child’s fantasy world. The 18 volcanic islands of the Faroe Islands resemble a handful of rocks scattered randomly in the deep sea. The islands are home to mythical mountains, hobbit-like turf-covered houses, and grazing shaggy sheep. They offer the perfect breeding ground for all our senses. They inexplicably unleash a soothing sense of stillness and an air of ruggedness that is only surpassed by the breath of fresh air and the sight of expansive landscapes. Unstable and changeable weather adds to the Faroe Islands’ charm (or challenges, depending on how you look at it). All of this and more create a unique and inimitable destination on the edge of the world. A place that is truly untouched, undiscovered, and simply amazing. A great journey and a real diving into Scandic life await you. We won’t live in tents, but in comfortable houses where you can relax and recharge after a long busy day.
We won’t live in tents, but in comfortable houses where you can relax and recharge after a long busy day. We will travel exclusively in 4×4 cars, which will take us to the most inaccessible places. It will be a real road trip, where we will discover new locations, get to know ourselves, and enjoy every moment during trip. It’s a great feeling of freedom to be able to stop wherever you want during your travels. Make top photoshoots and shoot unreal road movies of your life. This trip, like all others – is perfectly planned. But we always leave a spare of freedom, a bit of unpredictability and adventure. We will visit the best and most top locations, as well as secret ones that few people know about.
Let us tell you shortly what awaits you on this journey and to keep the intrigue I won’t reveal all the places you will see so that you do not have any expectations. So your emotions are going to be more sincere. However, you can be sure that real mind-blowing awaits you because we will visit super popular locations and those that tourists have not heard about, which will add a nice vibe to our trip.
The route and program may change during the trip, depending on road or weather conditions and various circumstances that may arise during the trip.
On the first day, we meet at the Sorvagur Airport. After arrival, we going to pick up our cars and have a short rest, we will go to Viðareiði – the northernmost town in the archipelago. We will travel through a network of tunnels to get to this settlement built at the foot of one of the highest capes in Europe – Eniberg. If time allows, we will also reach the abandoned settlement of Múli.
After breakfast, following the most picturesque road in the archipelago, we will go to the vicinity of the settlement of Funningur in the northern part of the island of Eysturoy. This small village, picturesquely situated on the slope of the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, is the starting point for several interesting trails. We will choose the most spectacular one and after a short hike, we will stand on the top of the cliff with a fabulous view of the fjord and the high, jagged peaks surrounding it.
In order to cool down the emotions, we will go to the nearby settlement of Gjógv – according to many, the most beautiful in the Faroe Islands. Ahead of us is a walk to the local monumental cliff. From a height of 200 meters above sea level, we will see the open ocean, the opposite island of Kalsoy, and with a bit of luck, also more and more puffins appearing here.
Then, after a short snack break, we will drive to Saksun on the Pollurin Lagoon. In the past, among the high mountains, there was a natural harbor with unique architecture. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the archipelago, often referred to as a village straight from “The Lord of the Rings” or “Narnia”. We will visit every corner here and climb two unique viewpoints. At the end of our stay in Saksun, we will go for a walk towards the ocean and the black beach lying there, crossing the lagoon shore with a unique view of the settlement and the surrounding waterfalls.
After breakfast, it’s time for a real adventure! We are about to visit Mykines – the most beautiful island of the archipelago. During the cruise, you will have the opportunity to see the Tindhólmur islet and the Gásadalur valley – symbols of the harsh nature of the Faroe Islands – up close. Upon arrival at Mykines, we will take a walk around the only settlement on the island, today almost abandoned. Then we will head to Mykinesholmur – a small island separated from Mykines by a metal footbridge to see the largest colony of Puffins and Gannets in the Atlantic. After returning to the settlement, we will try sheep meat sandwiches and rhubarb beer in a local bar. On the way back, a 40-minute speed boat ride along the most beautiful fjord of the Faroe Islands.
n the morning we will take a short ferry ride to the island of Kalsoy. It was here that the latest James Bond adventures “No Time To Die” were filmed. The island is called a pipe, and it’s all because of its characteristic elongated shape and 4 tunnels that communicate the settlement cut off by the mountains. Let’s cross them all to get to the village of Trøllanes, where a short trail begins to one of the most beautiful places in the archipelago – Cape Kallurin. There are fairy- tale views of the cascading highest capes in Europe. The place remains in memory forever.
It’s time for a real adventure and a helicopter flight. On the way we will fly over the capital Tórshavn, the beautiful island of Koltur and just above the unique waterfall Bøsdalafossur, which pours its waters from Lake Sørvágsvatn directly into the ocean.
This is not the end of attractions! From the airport we will go to Gásadalur – until 2006 the only town in the Faroe Islands cut off from the road system. If the weather allows, we will go to the village along the old postal route, guaranteeing the most beautiful views of the archipelago. There is an amazing view of Mykines and Tindhólmur, which we will admire from several viewpoints. In the final we will face the Múlafossur waterfall, without a shadow of exaggeration, the most photogenic on the archipelago.
Full day tour of the smaller islands: Borðoy, Viðoy and Kunoy. We will see the church of Viðareiði Kirkja, the fairytale peak of Malínsfjall, the picturesque village of Kunoy and the bay of Viðvík. In the afternoon, visit the breathtaking Klakkur viewpoint.
We will start the day with a visit to Tjørnuvík. An unusual volcanic beach awaits us and a unique view is available to those who decide to climb a few hundred meters along an easy trail above the village.
Then we will take a trip along the highest road in the Faroe Islands. It leads through the massif of Slættaratindur – the highest mountain of the archipelago with a height of 882 meters above sea level. It is also the highest peak in the European part of the Kingdom of Denmark. We will reach the top by overcoming 300 meters of difference from where there is the greatest view of the entire archipelago!
Last day on the beautiful islands. Depending on when everyone has the flights, we will head to the airport to catch a flight back home.
We hope you understand what awaits you and the fact that such a journey is hard to miss 🙂 I’m waiting for you on this crazy journey only with a positive charge for adventure!
