Our Travel Plan
In the remote Arctic Ocean, right on top of the world, between Norway and the North Pole, lies one of the world’s northernmost inhabited places, comprising a vast area of icebergs, ice fields, fjords, and unspoiled Arctic wilderness. Meaning ‘Cold Coast’, Svalbard is home to the magnificent ‘King of the Arctic’ – the mighty polar bear. Journey through the fjords, each inlet revealing historical mining settlements, magnificent glaciers, and a wealth of wildlife inhabiting the tundra; including walrus, seals, seabirds, and whales.
The fairytale winter landscape is dominated by sparkling ice formations, snow-covered mountains, fjord ice, and pastel-colored skies.
A great journey and a real diving into Artic life await you. We won’t live in tents, but in a comfortable hotel where you can relax and recharge after a long busy day.
We will travel exclusively by snowmobiles, which will take us to the most inaccessible places. It will be a real adventure trip, where we will discover new locations, get to know ourselves, and enjoy every moment of the trip. It’s a great feeling of freedom to be able to stop wherever you want during your travels. Make top photoshoots and shoot unreal road movies of your life.
This trip, like all others – is perfectly planned. But we always leave a spare of freedom, a bit of unpredictability and adventure.
We will visit the best and most top locations, as well as secret ones that few people know about.
Of course, as always, we will not tell you the full itinerary in advance. However, to make you aware of what «F * cking amazing» is waiting for you, I tell you a little bit about our adventure:
Longyearbyen is a 2.50-hour flight from Oslo or a 1.35-hour flight from Tromsø and a scenic one as it skirts the long coast of Norway. On arrival, there will be a local airport bus waiting to take us into Longyearbyen, a short drive away. Check into our Hotel and head off for a stroll around the small township of Longyearbyen – enjoy the polar museum and church.
Breakfast buffet at our hotel. Then we will be picked up and brought to the starting point of the snowmobile safari. Here we will receive all necessary equipment as well as a detailed briefing about the safari and how to drive a snowmobile. Today getting out of town and into the arctic wilderness, where we will spend 6 hours.
Today we will experience an authentic Arctic adventure and learn the basics of being a real “musher”. The silence, and the interaction between dogs, people, and nature, will make a real impression. We’re going on a 6-hour safari in sleds with huskies. That’s how we’ll reach the ice cave which we visit.
Today let’s take some brake from the wilderness and let’s stroll around the city. The plan is to visit the Artic Museum, the northernmost beer brewery, and relax in the sauna with the fjord view.
Today is our longest snowmobile safari, which will last for 9 hours. The trip to the Grønfjord across the Svalbard tundra takes us through narrow valleys and open landscapes. A fascinating coastal landscape awaits us when we reach the Grønfjord.
A morning stroll around the city, then departure back home.
We hope you understand what awaits you and the fact that such a journey is hard to miss 🙂 I’m waiting for you on this crazy journey only with a positive charge for adventure!
